Some friends of mine have organized a prayer calendar to help keep track of who’s praying when. I think they’re great. And I think it’s great. And I love them for it.

Dear Robert and Aimee,
As I continue to pray for you both and your families I stand with you to fight on. I was reminded this morning of Isaiah 40:29 ” He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; THEY SHALL MOUNT UP WITH WINGS LIKE EAGLES, THEY SHALL RUN AND NOT BE WEARY, THEY SHALL WALK AND NOT FAINT’ !!!! May you soar on eagles wings. God Bless you both.

Robert – I just wanted to know that you are constantly in our prayers that you will be healed! Kendall and Kathryn pray for you every night before bed. Just know that while you are sleeping..prayers on the other side of the world are being lifted. We love you.
I am passing along a scripture that was given to me by a friend in Austin (who’s sister and mother battled cancer and survived) when I faced a potentially fatal condition 9 yrs ago:
Psa 118:17…”I will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord.”
Robert, I’m a friend of your in-laws and my husband, Alan, is the Administrative Pastor at Coronado. We’ve been praying for you and your whole family and keeping abreast of your situation.
I wanted to share that my parents are both cancer survivors and if you’re interested in hearing about an alternative treatment they chose at this point in your journey, I wanted to be able to at least give you the option of exploring it.
I highly respect Craig (he’s our doctor) and Sue and I were involved together in the WOW Bible Study (I was the administrator for a couple of years), so I don’t in any way want to disparage their background or beliefs. I just know that my parents are both alive (Dad for 16 or 17 years with prostate, Mom with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma for 13 years) because of the alternative route they chose. The Oriental shepherd was always ahead of his sheep. He was down in front. Any attack upon them had to take him into account. Now God is down in front. He is in the tomorrows. It is tomorrow that fills men with dread. God is there already. All the tomorrows of our life have to pass Him before they can get to us. –F. B. M.
