It’s been quite some time…

My apologies for the lapse in updates. We have been busy trying to get our lives in order. Here is a quick recap.

In June we celebrated Emeline’s third birthday and made a trip to the beach! The girls went to summer camp in July and I ran around taking care of logistical needs. In August the kids started back to school, even Egan is going two mornings a week. We just celebrated Egan’s first birthday last week. It was a classic Feuille celebration. In the midst of everything he managed to cut his lip and chip his two front teeth. I have a feeling that he may be the first of my children to ever go to the emergency room…

We will be in Burnet for Labor Day and when we return to El Paso, the kids and I will be moving into a rental house close to their school. Please come by and see us at an open house/birthday party (for me!) on September 11 from 3:30-6:00. The address is 914 Galloway Dr. If you get a chance, will you let me know you are coming? My mom will be cooking up some grub and a rough head count would be good.

Now, the question everyone seems to have is, how are we doing? In all honesty we are doing really well. It is taking some time to adjust to how we function as a family of four, but we are figuring it out and growing and learning all the time. Ethne has had a few questions here and there about death and heaven, but she remembers losing her grandmother two years ago and has hung on to most of our conversations from that time. She was a little worried about who will walk her down the aisle when she gets married (seriously, she is five). I told her that she can choose whoever she wants when the time comes and suggested her grandfathers, uncles and Egan. She laughed so hard and reminded me that Egan can’t walk. In the end, she chose him anyway.

I have decided to take the next year to continue being a stay at home mom. Also, I will be doing some part-time photography to build up my own portfolio. In June I will be taking pictures in Nepal! I will be traveling with a group from my church. We will be doing some medical missions and evangelism for two weeks. Please pray for me as I prepare to be in the physical shape that is needed to backpack in this beautiful country. Your prayers about helping to fund the trip would be appreciated as well, I need to raise around $1,900.

If you are an El Pasoan, Robert’s work will be in the Adiar Margo Gallery beginning October 7 and I will be giving a short presentation at the Percolator around 12:30 after the opening.

I tried to add a few photos from Disney World and the birthday parties, but apparently there is a fatal error and my blog is out of memory. *sigh* I’ll try again tomorrow.

Daaaaang! Nepal is going to be saweeeeet! Thanks for the update Aimee doober. It’s great to hear about the kids and that you all are getting along, I’ve had Robert on my mind a bunch lately. Are you making prints of Roberts work? There are a couple that I would be interested in buying possible maybe if you are. I’ve been missing that guy. We hung a photo of him in the Wii room so I see his little face all the time. Lots-O-Love to you and the little ones :) Enjoy Nepal a bunch if I don’t speak to you before then :)

What a relief to hear you all are doing well…we think about you guys a lot- and we’re avid picture-viewers on Facebook…in a non-stalker way.
I’m looking forward to seeing your portfolio expand!
