Last December, we shot Ryan and Dayna’s wedding in Georgetown, Texas (north of Austin on I-35). It was there that we met Lindsey, who was one of Dayna’s bridesmaids. We were so pleased when she contacted us about shooting her wedding that we took the job even though it meant flying to Dallas the morning after my little brother’s wedding in Austin. But it was so worth it. Brad and Lindsey were so great and we had a really good time. Thanks, guys!

David and Danielle got married in El Paso last weekend and had a beautiful (and hot!) wedding. We had such a great time getting to know them both better; thank you guys so much for everything! David is a member of the Coast Guard, and he wore his dress blues for the wedding. Check it out:

We had the honor of shooting for Steve and Nancy on the 26th for their ceremony at Zilker Gardens in Austin. The humidity was pretty intense in the garden at the two in the afternoon, but that didn’t slow us down! The reception was held at Shanghai (voted the best dim sum in Austin!), which is owned by Nancy’s family. Check out the slideshow:

This weekend, we drove out to White Sands with our friends Davy and Kimmie to play a little bit with the girls and to take some photos. Aimee and Kimmie took their wedding dresses to do some fun bridals. It was super windy, so we barely even took the girls out of the car, but Aims and Kim toughed it out for a while. I haven’t even looked through all the images yet, but I love this shot of Kimmie that we took just before we called it a day. The sun was just setting on the other side of the Organ Mountains and was really throwing around some nice, pinkish light. We’re hoping to go out again sometime next month to do this again. Hopefully with less wind.

Hey everybody- Thanks for your patience while I was away. Everything should be back to normal now. (Well, as normal as things can be when I’m around…) We’ve got a lot going on in the next couple months and I’m excited for all the work we’ll be doing and all the new people we’ll be working with! If you’re interested, I’m going to be posting my photos from Scotland to my flickr account, and you can see them by clicking here. There should be a new one or two up just about every day until I’ve finished going through them all.

Hey everybody! I’m in Scotland for the next week with my Aimee’s dad and my brothers-in-law. Aimee’s still answering email and making phone calls, so feel free to get in touch with us. My access to the internet is a little dodgy, so if you have a question or concern that I need to address myself, please be patient and we’ll work everything out as fast as we possibly can. Thanks! See you soon!
I had to put together a ten-image portfolio of my work for someone recently. They asked for images that would demonstrate my range and abilities. It was tough trying to narrow it down to just ten, but here’s what I came up with:

(I know… I’ve been slacking off here recently. There’s just been so much to do that I’ve lost track of blogging. Here’s hoping I can stay better focused on everything!)
Happy New Year, everyone! To celebrate the end of 2007, I’m working on a couple slideshow year-in-reviews. Stay tuned.

I hope that today found you warm and well, surrounded by those you love. Merry Christmas!
