Aimee and I are sitting in the Austin airport waiting for our flight back to El Paso and I just wanted to take a second to talk about the show this weekend.
We had two booths at the Austin Bridal Extravaganza this Saturday and Sunday. And aside from the name, it was a great show! We met a ton of couples, played some Wii and met a ton of really cool wedding professionals.
I still can’t believe how many couples we had the privilege of meeting. If any of you are reading this, thanks so much for stopping by and saying hello! It was a pleasure meeting all of you. And if I mispronounced your name, please forgive me… I’m bad enough with names as it is, meeting all of you left me a little scrambled in that department. (An extra apology to Tabia (sp?), whose name I especially butchered… And am probably still getting wrong…)
And here’s to Jeff & Lou, Joshua & Stephanie and Tim & Liz, who all signed contracts yesterday during the show. We’re really looking forward to shooting for all of you!

Wow. Things have been crazy recently. I’m working on a bunch of different projects right now, with a trip to Los Angeles tomorrow and another week-long trip to Austin starting on Thursday. This blogging thing is hard to keep up with in the middle of all of it, but I’m going to try real hard in the next couple weeks to update. Even if that means it’s a little sporadic.
The cool thing about being so busy is that good things come as a result. I found today that a photo I took for The 50 Million Pound Challenge ran in USA Today last weekend! Is that cool or what? I’ll put a scan up later in the week…

Okay, I’ve had this stupid post up forever. It’s time to actually use this thing. I’ve had some trouble getting things going on the blog because I wasn’t quite sure where to start. But I’m just gonna do it. I’ll try to keep things current, but I’ll probably also fill in some of the gaps with some back-dated posts. Let’s get this show on the road.
